I’ve been using this brand of Steno pad for forty years (or more!), and they’re a great value. I use them for notes, lists, sketches, ideas, and anything else that comes up; there’s always one (and a pen) beside my easy chair, and they seem to fill up rather quickly. They are inexpensive, VERY effective, and VERY efficient. They suit my needs closely, and I’ll continue buying Mead Steno pads as long as they’re available.

Liked everything about it. Good weight paper, takes pencil and ink well.On the inside of the covers, the company printed the spelling of words.Not sure that is necessary. They don’t seem to be common words and I’drather have the inside of the covers blank for my own notes. The wordsprinted seem to be many legal words (i.e., for a legal secretary), which is okaybut not just legal secretaries use these pads.

I bought several steno books because I couldn’t find any information on the thickness of the backs. I liked all that I chose for different purposes but the Mead pack was the best of the bunch overall. These have a nice sturdy back when you fold the cover over. They are not flimsy. The pages are aligned with the cover exactly. They have word spellings on the cover because they were designed when people knew how to make things. They have green tint paper for eye comfort. You can see a sharpie pen on the back of the page but it didn’t bleed to the next page for me. I got a multicolored pack of 2 red, blue, green and 2 black covers. This will help organization of topics. I’m very happy with this product and my purchase!!

Mead produces the best steno pads. Durable, practical, helpful with commonly misspelled words on the cover.The green tinted paper is easy on the eyes. I use the pads to keep a paper record of events, digital is not always best.
