Buying online greeting cards is so convenient! I can easily see how buying cards here on Amazon.com will be beneficial to those looking for a way to save time or gasoline or hassle in the busy stores: made in the USA greeting cards from American Greetings without the stressful shopping trip!The inside of the card doesn’t have a ton of clear area to write a personalized message but pretty much, the preprinted sentiment says everything you’d like to say yourself. The left side actually does have space to add your message, as long as you don’t mind writing over top of the lightly colored print pattern (shown in the product photos, if you’re unsure).The card has nice clean-cut edges, a simple heartfelt sentiment, and crisp graphics. Interior message and cover graphics are level and centered on the page. In a nice touch, the left side of the card has a very tiny overhang to make opening the card easier. I notice these helpful assistance touches because some of my older family members have arthritis, and they appreciate ease in opening their card.If I was fulfilling my wish list for the perfect card though, I could ask that the card include a little heftier envelope for mailing. The envelope provided seems more appropriate for giving in person as opposed to mailing. This envelope likely meets the guidelines for mailing via USPS but it seems (to me, anyway) to be a little thin to stand up to hard USPS wear and tear. I’ve noticed a trend though of thinner almost see-through envelopes with other greeting cards in the card shops recently, so using lighter weight paper for the envelope is likely not that unusual.I’m pleased to say that American Greetings put out a really nice product. I’ll be looking to see what other occasions they offer cards for!
