I’m in love with these notebooks. I’ve used this system for a while, have used focus notes brand notebooks. By far I’m loving the Cornell Notebooks way more. Pages are thicker and the whole notebook is sturdier. And let’s not mention they at least have a little sample page in the beginning to guide you. Please pay attention when ordering. I made the mistake of not looking for other ones and ordered the first one I saw and ended up getting the smaller ones. How much can you fit on a 6*9 page when you’re im grad school? Had to reorder two of the 8*11 or something like that. And if they would have different designs that would be great but sadly they don’t. Otherwise it is an amazing investment.

I just received the notebooks I have purchased. I was looking for the brand focusnotes note-taking system on Amazon and read some reviews for that brand, then saw one of the reviews mentioned this brand note-taking notebook, so I looked into it. I am really Happy that I made a good decision.I have used many types of notebooks, engineering note-taking notebooks, blank sheets notebooks, lines marked notebooks, even the same note-taking system but different brands, etc. This is the best notebook I have ever bought.1. plastic covers on both sides.2. paper quality, thick3. each page shows page number. It is a really good feature, and I could say that 99.99% of the notebooks on the market do not have the feature. I like to have the page number on each page, and I used to mark page numbers my own on the pages.4. the first 3 pages, you could write your contents, such as which page includes what topics. It is really good for note-taking, and later, when do review my notes, I can directly go to the page I want. I used to make my own as well, now save me time.I think all of the college students should have this notebook, recommended.

This notebook is outstanding and has many uses, such as for college students, business meetings, and also for Bible Study notes at home as well as at church for business meetings there and also my Sunday morning class notes. It is so sturdy you can fully expect it to come out of your bag or purse and still look brand new.I will keep this notebook on my list permanently for when I need a new one or when I need one for other topic/meeting. You will love it, too, because you can adapt it to your own needs – it’s great!

I bought this notebook for my continuing education and conferences for work, and I’m delighted with it! The paper is sturdy, and even my good rollerball pens don’t bleed through. The line spacing is 7 mm, which is a little wider than I like, but is a good width for most people. There are sturdy plastic covers on the notebook, which wasn’t mentioned in the product listing. The pages are numbered and there are index pages in the front. The smaller size is nice for carrying around, sharing desk space with a keyboard, and using on those little fold-out tables in auditoriums or no table at all. I will be buying more of these.

I got this last semester to study for finals and it worked fantastically. I’m not a great test taker and I got an A in a class which is considered one of the hardest for undergrads! I’m not actually familiar with the “Cornell method” but I used it in a way sort of like large flashcards. The left-hand side has “cues/questions” where I give the names of concepts I need to understand, and on the right-hand side all of the actual material I should know relating to these concepts. At the bottom I put more broad information to supplement my understanding. When I’m going back through to study, I first look at the left-hand side and rack my brain to explain the concepts in as much detail as possible. Then I look to the right-hand side to see how much of that I was able to produce, and highlight bits which I hadn’t thought of. Rinse and repeat. I’m definitely going to do this again for this semester, and will probably end up buying a couple more of these.Important note: The book is pretty small compared to traditional notebook. This was fine for my purposes, but something to be aware of if you need more space. Because of its size it can be quick to fill depending on how many classes/information you have. Not cheap for a notebook, but given the results I got with my grades, it was well worth it to me.
