Arrived much earlier than expected, in bubble wrap secure packaging. The leather bindings and letter engravings are beautifully done, the quote I chose for the inside cover was eloquently designed and even better than I imagined! My boyfriend is going to cherish this and love keeping track of his drink recipes. My only complaint are the small scuffs in the leather: two to the left of the rum bottle, and two above the inside quote. The scuffs are minimal but clearly stand out. I’m hoping some leather oil will diminish their appearance, but I won’t know that until after Christmas when he gets to open this and try it.

I ordered the dark brown cover with the light brown pages. I was able to preview the cover before it was made so I knew I was going to get the cover the way I wanted. There were way more pages than the binder can really handle so I pulled some out so I wouldn’t tear them. I wrote up a few recipes but black ink on light brown paper was a bit hard to read. I ended up buying 4×6” white printer paper and just making my own pages in MS Word. I love the book with my custom pages and the real leather cover. Highly recommend the book with lighter colored paper.
