I’m super happy with this purchase! I had previously bought another brand transparencies that were fully transparent (clear essentially) but I can tell you this milky texture really helps with ink retention. I’m using these for screen printing and have the epson xp 15000 printer. Note the slight white texture on the bottom left of the inverted image. That’s due to moisture and is how I tested the sheets. The less glossy, aka the side that reacts to water and becomes slightly sticky, is the side that needs to be printed on.I’m very happy with these transparencies (I bought the 11×17 size) and will definitely be buying these again in the future.Please note that I am using an inkjet printer and held it up to outdoor light so you can get a sense of how opaque the paper and ink are in case this is good enough for your needs.

As others have mentioned, these are more milky than transparent, but for printing with an inkjet printer to create film for screen printing use, they work great!Quick note, you’ll just get a wet and smeared printout if you print to the wrong side and there’s only one way I know of to figure out which side to print onto: get a finger tip slightly wet and touch a corner of the sheet, if your finger sticks (and leaves a bit of a white mark), that’s the print side. If your finger doesn’t stick, that is not the side to print to. Just do that with one sheet when you first open the package, and then you can mark the packaging on the print side so you know moving forward. Easy.
