The diary is what I expected. It is the typical diary we all grow up with. It is the pleather, puffy, outter shell, with the replaceable notebook inside. They did however add a pen holder, a ribbon bookmark, no play lock and they made it a more practical size to write in. My only complaint is that they taped shut the pretty box it comes with and slapped all the shipping labels on it. So it is damaged and unusable.

The diary has definitely enough pages to last a while and the instructions make it pretty clear on how to create a new password. I honestly really like it and the box that came with it is pretty cute too.

Beautiful!! The best journal I’ve ever had. The lock is actually a lock. Not a cheap fake lock. You have to really use a code to get into it and that is a blessing. The book is not attached. So it looks like you could buy filler paper for the journal cover. Which is AWESOME. It has a date entry, weather entry, and a day of the week entry. It is perfect for therapy journaling. 100% recommend. Just do it. The best thing you’ll ever own.
