5/5 RatingI’ve recently started my EDC journey (Every Day Carry) which consists of items that you carry on your person daily. I find that most people who adhere to an EDC usually have a notebook / journal. It prompted me to give it a try. The downside to EDC is that you will usually carry multiple items on you, some you may not need and some that will weigh your pockets down.I decided to start my journal process. This notebook has a rustic / yet professional feel to it. I love that you can have it personally monogrammed. This journal binder mainly consists of a leather swatch folded to provide a cover for your notebook journals. Either way it looks very nice. I love the customer service on top of it it’s an American company (located in Texas). Every day I wake, I write 3 things I’m grateful for in the first booklet, the second booklet consists of my To Do list for the day or thoughts I may have.I’m pleased with the journal although there’s one small caveat, I wish the lines in the journal were a little smaller, kinda like college rule paper. This is a regular sized lines. It’s a small thing. but I feel I could get more writing into it.

I had been in the hunt for a pocket journal that was authentic leather, but didn’t break the bank, for a good couple of weeks. I am so grateful and pleased to have found this one from Ox & Pine. Every detail of this journal is beautifully done – from the leather itself, to the personalization, and even the packaging. There is so much care in every detail.
