These are really great notebooks with high quality papers for for writings and sketches! The size is perfect, not too large and not too small. I carry it everywhere in my purse as I take notes on everything and I still prefer to write on paper than entering on my phone. My teenager loves to use these notebooks for her stories and drawings. The colored pensil works great on its smooth paper. Lastly this comes in a pack of 50! You can even share with your friends. We are happy with the purchase.

Update : 2025-03-02Good to his word, Kevin, the manufacturer’s rep, sent new notebooks. He was serious as they were delivered overnight! I cannot detect the odor in this lot and can only conclude that something happened during shipment.. I am bumping my rating to 5-stars!Update 2025-03-01Wow! The manufacturer’s rep reached-out quickly and offered to send more notebooks to test. I am impressed. I added another star for the rapidity and positive nature of the response.Kevin, the manufacturer’s rep, seems very certain that this is a contamination-during-transport issue. If the replacements are odor-free, I will report back again with a final update and a 5-star rating.A quick test reveals that the sheets are resistant to print-through with the Higgins-brand India ink that I use. At 34 sheets, 65 pages, these are sufficiently thin and affordable that I will use one for each of the short one-off projects that I work. The notes from long-term projects will continue to be written into hard-bound books with twice as many pages.
