The cover is nice and seems like it will hold up well. But the edges are scraped up and the back page is crumpled so it looks beat up before Ive even started using it. I expected it to be in better condition for the price, but its still usable. If you’re a perfectionist like me, the beat up edges might drive you crazy too.

Definitely recommend this notebook for any student starting clinical rotations! It has an excellent template for making sure that I never forget to ask any important questions to my patients. I also love that this notebook has such open formatting. A lot of other notebooks don’t have enough space and I feel that the design of the template allows me to be flexible with the amount of space that I need for different parts of the patient’s history. Also bonus, the ruler inside is helpful!

I love the design and the leather cover of the notebook. The condensed ROS portion helps me save space but also helps me to make sure that I don’t miss any pertinent positives or negatives. This notebook also has 110 templates while most of the other H&P notebooks on Amazon only have 100 templates at most. I also really like how the templates are all on one page. That way when I tear a page to take with me or to protect PHI it doesn’t affect the other templates.
